Application & longevity

  • How do I apply a tattoo?+

    Clean dry skin, design face down, press a wet cloth firmly for 20 seconds, peel from a corner. Done.

  • How long does it last?+

    Standard inks last 7–10 days on most skin. Hands, fingers, feet and joints fade in 3–5 days. Genipin lasts 14–21 days.

  • Can I shower / swim with it?+

    Yes. After the first hour you can shower normally. Swim is fine, but heavy saltwater or chlorine shortens lifespan to 3–5 days.

  • How do I remove it?+

    Apply baby oil, coconut oil, or olive oil. Wait 30 seconds. Wipe with a cloth. Rinse with soap and water. Fully gone.

  • Can I apply two designs at once?+

    Absolutely — keep them at least 1 cm apart so the carrier paper doesn't overlap during application.

Skin safety & ingredients

  • Are the inks safe for sensitive skin?+

    Yes. All our inks are CPNP-registered (the EU Cosmetic Products Notification Portal) and made with skin-safe, cosmetic-grade ingredients. Patch-test 24 hours before use if you have known sensitivities.

  • Are they vegan?+

    Standard and Vegan-Plus inks are 100% vegan, plant-derived pigments. Genipin uses gardenia fruit extract — also vegan.

  • Can children use them?+

    Recommended ages 6+ with adult application. Avoid the eye area. We do not recommend on infants.

  • Pregnancy?+

    Our inks are cosmetic-grade and pose no known risks. Consult your physician if uncertain.

  • What about allergic reactions?+

    Reactions are extremely rare (<0.1%). If you notice redness, itching, or irritation — remove immediately with oil and cool water.

Ordering & shipping

  • When will my order ship?+

    Orders placed before 14:00 WET ship the same day from Braga, Portugal. Otherwise, the next business day.

  • Where do you ship?+

    EU + UK with local carriers. Switzerland, Norway, USA, Canada, Australia and most of Asia via DHL Express. See the shipping page for rates.

  • Is shipping free?+

    Yes — over €30 in Portugal/Spain, over €40 in Western EU, and over €60 in the rest of the EU.

  • Can I cancel an order?+

    Yes, within two hours of placing it. After that the order has been queued for production and dispatch.

  • What payment methods?+

    Visa, Mastercard, Amex, Apple Pay, Google Pay, Bancontact, iDEAL, MB Way, and Klarna pay-in-3 (EU only).

Custom & B2B

  • Can you print my own design?+

    Yes — upload a PNG, SVG, PDF, or AI file (max 20 MB) on the Custom page. We send a digital proof within 48 hours.

  • Minimum order for a custom design?+

    One unit. We don't have an MOQ for custom — but bulk pricing kicks in at 50 units.

  • How long for custom orders?+

    7–10 days end-to-end: 2 days for proof approval, 2–3 days production, 2–5 days shipping.

  • Do you do white-label?+

    Yes. From 200 units we can ship in your own packaging with your branding. Email info@tattoofactory.eu.

  • EU VAT for B2B?+

    EU B2B reverse charge applies with valid VAT number. We invoice without VAT and you self-account locally.

Account & support

  • Do I need an account to order?+

    No — guest checkout works. Creating an account lets you track orders and re-order favourites.

  • How do I change my email?+

    In your account settings, or email us — we'll move your order history across.

  • My package is missing — what do I do?+

    Email info@tattoofactory.eu with your order number. We re-ship lost EU parcels after 14 working days at no charge.
